Well, I was in SJ on...

Well, I was in SJ on business and I read about the Pink Poodle being the "best" club in SJ. If that is the case then the whole SC scene south of SF must be very, very poor. I stopped in on a Sunday evening around 9pm. I paid a $20 cover, which is as high as I have ever paid in a strip club anywhere for admission. Once inside it looks like a small dive bar, neighborhood bar with a stage down the middle. There were about 1o ladies there, and easily 8 of them were BIG girls -- if you;re into that sort of thing (I'm not -- especially not in a strip club) There was one younger girl with an average build, and one very tall thin blonde Asian girl, but the rest were porky. I had read that they had just put up some screens for lap dances, which I guess are unusual south of SF. Anyway, I was approached by one overweight dancer who offered me a lap dance for 60 bucks!!! Yes $60 for a lap dance. I have been in some of the best clubs in other parts of the country, with model-looking girls, and never paid anything like that for a LD. When I asked, incredulously, if that was for just one dance, she vaguely said "we would make it work". Not specific enough for me, and I passed. I left after begin there just about thirty minutes -- just enough time to finish my very expensive bottle of water. I'll be heading up to the SF clubs from now on.
