Very dissappointing. Went in based on...

Very dissappointing. Went in based on the "fame" that the place has as a celebrity hang out. Was very dead then I got there. Only a medium-sized place, fairly dark and loud. It was early, granted, maybe 8 pm on a week day but still extremely quiet (except for the music). Maybe six patrons and ten girls mostly talking to each other. I luckily sat next to an attractive girl at the bar in street cloths. Turns out she was just their cashing out her week, and suggested that a much better time could be had a Scandles over in Long Island City where she was heading to work! I didn't take her up on following her over there, had a drink and was on my way, having wasted the $20 cover. I won't be back. Oh, for the good old days at the HLDC!
