I was in Sydney for several days, and stopped in at the Men's Gallery two nights in a row. It took a little while to get used to the "look-but-no-touch" rule, but once I got used to it, I was able to make it somewhat exciting. The bar has three stages, but only two were in use at any given time. The girls were friendly and vivacious, and some were 8s - most were 6s. I struck up a conversation with a very sexy, black-haired dancer. She told me about the backroom, and I found myself drawn to go back there with her, even though it was a bit expensive for my speed and I knew there would be no contact. Coming from the U.S., there was something about the accent that drew me in. She had curly hair. We were told that there would be a half-hour wait for the private rooms, and I almost left, but I stayed - and that turned out to be a good thing, because it gave us some time to talk. The private room turned out to be an alcove with a curtain, which she (with some embarrassment) kept trying to close. But then she danced and we forgot about the people next door. I let my hands hover all around her body as she danced - no contact, but sliding back and forth, over all her parts, simulating touching with a thin coating of air between us. She caught on of course, and played along, undulating for me, teasing back and forth - it was all we could do, but it was enough. I don't remember her name; she had curly hair, an impish smile, and when it was over she asked if I'd come visit her at another club. Again, with no touching. I went out to the main room and hung around a bit more, watching the other dancers work the room.
