Great club within walking distance, but definitely not a brothel.
My friends and I visited this club 3 nights in early June of 2021 - Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Each experience was essentially the same, since they were only open from 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. because of local ordinance. We were told that they likely will be open until 2:00 a.m. starting today, June 7. Oh well, can't exactly fly back to SXM for another week!
The club is located within walking distance of Maho Village, which makes it wildly convenient if you're staying at Sonesta Maho. The club is just off the main drag up a little hill. We walked in with no cover, no table reservations, etc. Just walked in, sat down at a table, and ordered drinks. Everything was reasonably priced -- $8 for a mixed drink, more or less. Even drinks for the girls were charged normally, much to my surprise. The club layout is pretty similar to any Vegas club you'd see -- huge stage in many poles, rail seating, bar, and seating around the edge of the club. One nice thing was that the music wasn't insanely loud like at most clubs -- it was loud, but you didn't have to scream into the ear of the dancer to communicate.
There were probably 10-15 girls working every night. It was hard to tell a little because of the extensive back room they could have been in. But at least 10. The majority of the girls here are Eastern European -- Lithuania, Russia, Czech, etc. No local girls, but there were 2 or 3 beautiful Colombians if you were looking for more of that type. It's no exaggeration to say that every dancer was very attractive and fit. I imagine they likely get their pick of girls because of the location.
Dances were all done in the back rooms, some of which have black lights (??) and all have privacy curtains. They're a little packed in, so we sometimes were sitting in an area where we could hear others getting dances next to us. Dances were $30/piece for solo and $40 for couples. No extra fees, no upselling that we experienced anyway.
In terms of dance quality, I would say every dance was like a very, very good "3 for $100" you'd get in Vegas. It wasn't even a question of whether it was full 2 way contact, which was nice. I was there with a girl, so I can't really comment on how the solo dances would have been but the couples dances were very fun. They focused on my girl a little too much, but there are worse things. We didn't get offered any extras, but one girl did offer to go home with my other friends there. I'm not sure if they're worried about getting busted for being unlicensed or maybe it's just a "no extras" club that attracts the hot girls, but I didn't really ask anything about that. All of the girls were very friendly, but the level of English varied greatly between girls.
Smoking was allowed, and I didn't even really see a bouncer anywhere so no jerk bouncers to deal with that I could see. I know everyone will think this is a club ad because I'm being so positive, but honestly it was just a very fun time and really easy to walk to and back. Hence we went back most nights we were staying there to stop in before the 11:00 closing.
They say there's a shower show but we didn't see that. We got dances from Katarina (Russian), Paola (Colombian - went back for seconds on day 2 but skipped day 3 since her performance dropped off substantially from day one to two), Lola (Eastern European), aaannnddd.... girl whose name I forgot but had fantastic fake boobs. Paola was the most aggressive (day one anyway), but all the dances were very fun. I would say the song lengths varied a LOT, though. Some seemed like close to 3 minutes, some were much more like 2 minutes.
Only negative I could say is that the limited hours seemed to make some of the girls a little bit too clingy. We wanted to sit and drink a little before getting dances and a couple of them wouldn't take the polite "maybe later" response. Also, Paola sat down on Night 2 and ordered a drink without even asking us and then her back room dances were clearly designed to elicit as much money as possible. But otherwise it was a very enjoyable time, and we'll likely return when we go back to beautiful SXM.
