This is a "private membership" club....
This is a "private membership" club. The principle reason for this: Ontario doesn't allow smoking in bars and restaurants which are open to the public. As a private club, the restriction doesn't apply. Near as I can tell, this isn't supposed to change the rules about what is and is not allowed between dancer and ATM. In effect, it seems to.
I stopped in on a couple of afternoons last week. I've always preferred day shift in clubs; fewer guys, less crowding, better dancer/customer ratio. Still applies up here, even though my night shift memories from a year or so ago tell me that nights are just as "friendly" here.
There is one main showroom, roughly ell-shaped, with four stages scattered throughout. There are four rooms filled with two-person booths, one "VIP lounge" which had three couches last time I looked, and a tiny stretch of two-person booths right off the main room. All private dances happen in the booths or VIP; no table dancing. The stage dances are, according to the DJ, "advertising"; you get to see the lady in her glory before you buy a $20 dance. You can also lay on your back on stage and have the dancer take your tip the old-fashioned and fun way.
