I saw the Crazy Horse from...

I saw the Crazy Horse from the exit ramp as I was pulling off I-10 for gas and, after filling up, I drove over to see what was happening. I will qualify this review by saying early Sunday evening is not the best time to visit any club, so consider these comments limited to the one Sunday visit.

The club is clean enough outside with safe parking (they could use more lights in the parking lot!). Inside, the appearance is good enough to avoid a "dump" label without being "fufu". I walked in and stopped at a counter for a moment but was ignored so I just walked on to the bar. I don't know if they charge a cover on Sunday nites, but I didn't pay one and nobody chased me down.

The only space I saw in use was the room just inside the entrance doors. Every seat was taken at the bar, so I got a $1.50 beer and found a table along one wall across from the one stage in use.

The 7 or 8 dancers I saw in the room were all in the 6 to 8 range, except one overweight 4. Stage dances were tame, with one clothed and one topless. A $1 tip got tits in your face for a moment, but that's all. Every dancer I saw would disappear for a few moments after her set instead of walking through the small crowd.

In 15 minutes of nursing my beer I only saw one trip to the VIP and that customer bought only 1 dance. In that same 15 minutes almost every dancer walked past me and not one of them even looked my way. I'm not unusually ugly or fat and I was dressed in a clean shirt and slacks so being ignored was a surprise.
