After having a great time at Darling last summer, I visited it again this summer when I returned to Prague. It’s a strip club that offers very expensive lap (and not very satisfying) dances, but it’s also a brothel and so offers not so expensive sex (3500K, or about $200, a bit more than other clubs in Prague, but still less than in the US, I believe, although I've never done this in either place).

Unfortunately, Darling has deteriorated significantly in the year since my last visit, probably due to the massive competition for Prague's pretty girls from other, newer clubs in the area (the best being the Carioca Club, which I hope TUSCL lists soon). Darling still has over a hundred girls on any given evening, but they’re not the caliber of those I encountered last summer. This time, they ranged from 3 to 8 (and a 10 and a few 9’s, but mostly 4’s and 5’s). And Darling has done what all strip clubs on this planet do when the beauty of their girls droops badly: they turned down the lights so you can’t see them anymore. As a result, it was difficult to appreciate even the pretty girls’ dances or to know what you were getting if you agreed to something private and expensive. I found it to be a way less than great experience. Worse, Darling is the most expensive club in Prague (most of its prices are 50% more than those of other clubs), and you can do a lot better elsewhere for a lot less money, so I now say skip it.

By the way, I visited it a second time three weeks later when passing through Prague again, thinking that these observations might have been a fluke, but I had a nearly identical experience there the second time.
