I visited the Player's Club on...

I visited the Player's Club on Thursday and Saturday evenings during a recent trip to Baltimore. While it's definitely a good club and infinitely better than the block clubs (which are really baaaad), it's not really a great one. Its best feature is its private dances, which are full two-way contact, and the girls do a very nice job and really put in the effort to show you a good time (lots of grinding from a number of different angles), so three or four of them in a row are likely to send you home smiling. If that's your thing, definitely go. They're worth the $30 price. But I like a good stage show, and Player's doesn't offer that. The girls dance to only one song each and spend the second half of their song collecting tips, so they can't really do much of a striptease, and most don't have the moves anyway. And the girls ranged from only about 5 to 9 (more 5's than 9's, unfortunately).

On the other hand, the place is very friendly. And the busty bartender is a real character, so order a soda or get change from her, and be sure to tip her because she collects tips between her ample breasts, which she readily whips out for the event. In fact, I found that she always merited two tips. Also, the BYOB policy makes it appealing if you like to drink a lot, and that feature has, in my opinion, added a point or two to many of the other reviews. Nevertheless, it's definitely not in the league of Tootsie’s or Mons Venus or some of the clubs in Prague (in the Czech Republic). By the way, it's a bit out of the way, and taxi drivers don’t seem to know about it, so make sure you know how to get there. One driver knew it by the name, "Wagon Wheel," which is written on its side.
