I was robbed in "Peanuts and Beer," by a dancer with the assistance of two employees of the club. The amount of the theft was moderate, but the sting of it lingers. I discourage anyone from venturing down the alleyway that leads to this den of thieves.

I sought no recourse from the Policia, although they were out in force nearby, lights flashing and sirens wailing--the police in Mexico are not exactly renowned for their honesty and integrity. Indeed, many of them are also thieves.
