Visited Sarasota recently on business (I know, who goes to Sarasota for business?). Stopped by the Cheetah Club one afternoon. It was pretty quiet; probably 6-8 customers total. Probably 4-6 dancers. Two of them, maybe 7's, spent their entire time sitting with a couple of customers. They would get up for their turn on stage but then go right back to their tables with their customers. The others who were looking for dances were more in the 4-5 range - a little heavy or a little tough to look at. I did get approached by a young, pretty and friendly African-American dancer. She was far better looking than almost anyone in the building. Unfortunately, I had to leave by then and didn't partake in a dance. I did get to observe some table side dances that were mostly air.

So, the upside. A mostly clean place, fair prices for drinks, friendly bartender. Cheap laps at $10 (although I didn't partake). Down side, limited numbers of mediocre talent. May be better at night. But I suspect even at the best of times this is still a "stop by for a look and a drink" kind of place as opposed to a place for serious talent or serious laps.
