I arrived shortly after opening (3pm) on a Monday afternoon. I know what you're thinking: "What the hell you expecting?" Well I was on my way north and took a little detour to check this place out. I was the first and only customer but couldn't talk my way out of the $5 cover charge. As soon as I walked in music started and someone told one of the two girls sitting at the bar to get on the stage and dance. I tipped about three times at the stage but sat at the bar drinking my $5.50 Harp lager. (Drinks were two for one by the way until sometime later which I don't remember because I knew I wouldn't last past my second drink) The girl seemed very bored but I felt obligated to tip a little since she wouldn't be working if I wasn't there. The second dancer was a little more into her job and smiled some. But neither one of them approached me for a private dance. I noticed there was a private dance area with a cash register nearby and signs announcing that "couch dances" were $20. I also noticed two balcony areas. One was called the VIP Lounge and the other Skybox. On the main floor was an entrance to a Champagne Lounge. I didn't inquire about any of these.
I was suprised at this place. Someone has invested a lot of money (I'd guess a million or more) making this a very nice place across the street from the county building in a very small rural town. When I got out of my car the smell of cow manure was overwhelming. But the facade of this place looks like a Vegas club and the interior is first class with lots of neon and nice furnishings. I guess that didn't really excite me because I was kind of hoping for a down and dirty, small-town dive where I could get a cheap lap dance.
I almost finished my second beer before leaving. The second girl was just getting ready for her second set so I'm sure both were happy to see me leave.
