Sugars is located across from Highland mall, which is an older more beat up mall located about 20 minutes from downtown. Sugars has been one of the main stays of Austin’s strip club landscape. It has been around forever! There is parking out front with valet service and additional parking next door. On weekend nights, the parking lots are packed and it can be tough to get seated. To the right of the valet station is the outdoor smoking area. To the left is the main entrance. Inside the main entrance is the area where cover charge is collected. It was $8 to get in, $5 goes towards sin tax.

Once you pay the entry fee, let the door girl know if you want a VIP seat. The VIP seating is in the front of the club, to the right of the main stage. The is a smaller stage in the middle of the club, and two more towards the rear near the entrance. There is normal seating throughout the club. You can pretty much see most if not all the stages from wherever you choose to sit. You can also get dances from any seat. VIP is a bit less crowded and the girls seem to pay more attention up there. The club is a bit on the thuggish side.

There were a variety of women working there. Blondes seem to be in high demand. Ask for Jessica, she will treat you right. Drinks are a bit on the pricey side. Overall, it’s a fun club and worth going to!
