This was my second visit to VIP’s. The first was about a year ago (also a Thursday night) and there was hardly a place to sit at the bar. On this night, on average, there were two empty seats for every one that was occupied. It has taken me a while to get used to the New Jersey “bikini bar” format. It is quite different from a regular strip and I guess I’m still learning how to “play it.”

Like VIP’s, many of the clubs have more than one dancer on stage at the same time. The girls dance on stage for some period, circulate behind the bar to get tips, and then circulate around the patrons outside the bar to solicit dances. Depending on the dancer, and probably on the patron, some of the girls ask you if you want a dance when they are still inside the bar.

On this evening there, were more than a dozen dancers. They ranged from maybe a 5 (overweight and over made-up) to an 8 (slim and tall brunette with a beautiful face). Three of the dancers were at least very attractive. The rest were all a little on the heavy side for my taste (which is pretty picky) but most were attractive. All of them appeared to be Latin American or Eastern European.
