The "crop" has had a few ups and downs as far as talent goes, but my last visit on a Saturday afternoon suggests that it's doing pretty well for itself these days. The place itself is pretty much a dive (I think "remodeling" only takes place when something falls down or breaks), but it does satisfy two essential requirements: 1. It has hot women (6's to 9's on a Saturday afternoon), and 2. It serves alcohol (states it has 51 beers on tap and a lot more hard stuff than I could count). The Acropolis is pretty laid back inside, which at times can include the service (tip well the first round and they seem to pay more attention to you thereafter--go figure). The laid back atmosphere includes most of the customers (although the enthusiasm can get pumped up on a weekend night) as well as the girls (the girl on the stage by the bar programs the music, so she's sure to get songs she likes at least once during the rotation between the stages). Note that the girls do 4-song sets here, so it can take a while for them to all work their way around the bar. Good Saturday afternoon fun, and even better when the evening shift comes in.
