I stopped by here again after...

I stopped by here again after a long absence. It used to be really run-down, but has recently had a major renovation. New floors, ceiling, etc. are a definite improvement to the atmosphere. Under the new skin, however, little has changed. There were just 4 dancers on the rotation and only two were worth looking at. I did go for pretty good lap dances with the two decent dancers. Much of the time, there was no dancing going on on stage, so I just watched baseball on the (new) TVs. The lap dance pressure is a bit higher than in the past, but that's not necessarily a bad thing because I do like to be approached so I know the girl really wants to do a lap dance. (There's nothing worse than a dance from a girl who doesn't want to be giving the dance.) Also, the dances are $20 compared to $25 at the other Stamford clubs. Overall, I think the Hideaway is worth dropping in if you're in the neighborhood, but I wouldn't travel out of my way to visit.
