I drove to Stars in Plainfield...

I drove to Stars in Plainfield at around 4 or 5 PM on a Tuesday in September of 2008. I have to give this club a rating above 5 (6 out of 10) because it seems like it has LOTS of potential. But no higher because of the way the dancers behaved. The inside is clean and very professional. Rivals most clubs for sure. The bar was having happy hour so drinks were not expensive. I can't remember exactly, but Michelob Ultras were like $3 or $4. And the bartender (who was a hottie in her own right) was cool about letting me know when happy hour was ending so I could grab a couple of beers at the lower price.

There is one main stage in the middle of the club and what appeared to be private dance areas on the second floor. This club is really very nice. Even the bathrooms were clean and everything. And it was in a fairly vanilla area of Plainfield. I felt completely and totally safe. Thug factor was almost zero

There were only two girls working. They were hot (one was a little too large for me, but that's just me). All I can say positive about them though is that they were hot. They barely danced on stage. When they did, they barely came over to me. And I was one of the only guys there (and I had $$). They never asked me for a private dance and there was absolutely NO contact. I don't know if its a club policy or dancer choice but no contact at all. No contact means lower rating from me. Sorry. Blame it on local ordinances if you want but it still factors in to my honest and neutral review.
