It had been a year or...
It had been a year or more since my last visit. I paid my cover and found a seat. The Rhino was pretty empty. A few dancers were sitting around by the fireplace, talking amongst themselves. A waitress zoomed over to take my drink order (no booze). Before she returned with my bottle of water, Dancer A sat down next to me to chat. The waitress returned and asked if I wanted to buy the lady a drink. I politely declined, but since Dancer A was cute and maybe worth a tumble in bed, I gave her $10 and told her I would rather give her all of it than have the house keep most of it. She seemed appreciative.
We engaged in smalltalk, and after a couple of songs she asked whether I was ready for a dance. I told her that I wasn't ready yet but really, really wanted her to come back and ask again in a little while. My thinking is always that between the $10-for-nothing and my apparent enthusiasm, the dancer is very likely to return, and in the meantime, I'll have had a chance to evaluate some other possibilities.
Dancer A left, and I tried to check out the dancer on stage and the others hanging around in back, but well within a minute, Dancer B arrived. She sat down, leaned in very close, and asked "How are you two doing?" The two she referred to were me and the little guy she had already started playing with. Dancer B was, looks-wise, less my type than Dancer A, but her greeting definitely got me interested. After all, the reason to go to Spearmint Rhino Rialto is not to see fantastic-looking women do terrific stage dances. The reason is high-contact private dances.
