Made it by a couple times during the week recently. Once around 3 pm, once around noon. Very similar experiences both days. Cover was $4. Drinks were $1 happy hour between 3 and 7, though normal $6.50 at noon. Lunch time buffet looked good though I did not sample it.

Club was dark, not overly smoky or loud either day. Downstairs only the main stage was going both days. About 12 or so customers and similar number of dancers downstairs both days.

Upstairs (balcony, not VIP) was super dark both days. Somewhat crowded on the 3 pm trip, mostly empty on the noon trip.
