I've gone to Shaker's several times...

I've gone to Shaker's several times over the years since their opening (I believe this was in 1995). As you might expect, the quality of the dancers varies quite a bit depending on when you go. The club has a mixture of dancers; there are the locals who have been there a long time (a few for several years). I've also met a lot of nice ladies who were road warriors and just passing through the area.

Shaker's is relatively clean if a bit run down. But that's part of its charm. The waitresses are helpful, friendly and attentive as a rule. And the club plays a wide variety of fun music and tends to have a decent DJ working most evenings.

The club has a generally laid back clientelle and I've always felt safe there.
