My recent visits to this club...

My recent visits to this club haven't been ones to remember so I thought I'd check out what it would be like during a Thursday night to see if it had more of a punch than what I have been experiencing in the past.

Walked in to a packed house. Literally about 50-60 customers there and about 50 dancers around the floor. Other than what I have experienced with a Cheetah's or an Olympic Garden in Las Vegas on a Saturday night, this place was filled to capacity. I made the mistake of finding a seat along one of the velvet couches that line the perimeter of the room, only to have one of the drink servers tell me that I couldn't sit there. One of the guys in the next booth said it was cool for me to sit until I saw a seat open up on the floor. That was cool of him. I later find out that those booths were $25 to sit in until you left. Luckily enough, I found a seat just in front of the main entrance.

Shortly after watching a few stage shows and turning down a few dance offers, I saw one of the dancers that I forgot worked there. I actually dated this dancer for about a year back in 2004 and accidentally ran into her again back in November 2007 when I made my last evening visit here. We exchanged some pleasantries back then and she even said that I should come back at any time and we can hang out. That was cool of her to say back then. But that was then. I have no idea what was up her butt on this evening but she refused to make her way to even say hello to me. It was clear that we saw each other as I simply wanted to say hello to her but she wanted no part of it. Fine, I was cool with that. I had my sights set on a couple of dancers anyway. But I do believe that I made her evening a little too distracting for her.
