I had intended to make the drive to Denver. But, after a long day I decided to check out Déjà Vu, which was much closer to my hotel. It turned out to be a pretty good decision.

I arrived at about 10PM. I got a VIP wristband at the door for an extra $5. The cashier indicated that this was a good deal – it is not clear she was right. The club was practically empty with 4 other customers and about 10 dancers in evidence. However, the ladies seemed to move in and out and after a while I had seen more than 20, ranging from 5 to 9.

I sat down and got a beer. The girl on stage was a definite 5. When she finished she came and sat on my lap asking to give me a lap dance. The waitress came over and tried to get me to buy her a drink. After about 5 minutes of the two of them I was about ready to leave. I’m glad I didn’t. The girl finally left and some more attractive girls were dancing.

Over the next 30 minutes, about 4 girls came by asking for a dance. None of them were my type and I managed to politely decline without the drama associated with the first girl. Then this pretty hot girl (an 8 in my book) gets up to dance. I left a tip for her on the stage (apparently there is no contact between customers and girls on the stage). After she gets off the stage, she comes and asks if I’d like to dance. The dance was mediocre but after this a steady stream of girls came by to talk and/or ask if I wanted a dance.

While the bouncers keep pretty good tables on things, it seems things are more liberal in the VIP area (extra $5 entry fee). The girls that took me back there timed their roaming hands based on when the bouncers came by.
