Well, finally revisited this club after...

Well, finally revisited this club after seeing the parking lot full several times and reading and hearing that this club was closest thing to Platinum Plus. As soon as I entered, I began to discover that this was not true. I was required to pay for my first two overpriced (compared to the other Memphis clubs) drinks at the door along with a higher cover charge than the other clubs. The club is very dark (may be to hide reality) and very smoky. This may be beacuse of the smallness and low ceilings. The waitresses were very nice (probably the best assest of the club), but too frequently were pushing the sale of the next overpriced drink. Spotted some former PP dancers and thought that time with them or some of the other available entertinaers may make-up for all the other shortcomings... wrong again. After acknowledging several of the dancers, including the former PP dancers, I made it apparent I was ready to spend some VIP time with them. It must have been a very lucrative night already for them because they never returned to give me for their VIP treatment nor was I able to make many new acquaintences. I finally saw a former PP acquaintance who had been with a regular for over 2 hours in the VIP semi-private area. She came back after "freshing-up" and gave me a VIP dance. It was good under the circumstances. She told me during the dance that her one regular had made her night and she would soon be going home early. She also said the other girls didn't "get-it". They would promise things at the table and then in the VIP area would tell you that the cameras were now on and she couldn't deliver on the promises. It seemed most just came in to drink and hang-out and then complained at the end of the night about not having any money. I appreciated her candor and I guess I should thank the other entertainers for not doing the "hustle". However, that is no way to development regulars which can provide a steady stream of dances.
