IMO , Players has slipped a lot in quality. I have gone to Players ever since it opened in the early 90's and it was one of the top spots on 8 Mile. The club has a good layout, the waitstaff and bartenders take care of you, but over the last year, the dancers have become quite lazy. If you aren't sitting in a booth, they flat out ignore you. I am a clean cut middle aged guy with money to spend and when some of these "entertainers" walk by and you say "hi" to them, they keep walking to a booth or say they will come back and never do. I don't say that all of them are lazy, but the overwhelming majority are. I go elsewhere these days and find that the dancers elsewhere are much more friendly and willing to entertain.
