I've been going to the Tijuana...

I've been going to the Tijuana clubs for awhile now, mostly because you can hang out with guys you see there often, and there's no such thing as "no alcohol" in a nude bar in Tijuana. So, on nites when the dancers may not interest you, order a shot or 6 or 7 of casadores or don julio and just kick back. Remember one thing though, in Mexico, beer is just Kool-Aid for F_GS, and the guys drink tequila. For you newbies, forget the "jose cuervo" myth (although cuervo does make some excellent tequilas), get a don julio or casadores reposado ... they're both 100% agave (that's a must) and both very decent. I've never been hungover on a pure agave tequila. OK, enough about the booze, lest you guys start wondering why I'm not in rehab!! Hong Kong (HK for short) just expanded and I don't like it as much as when it was half size because on weekends (to include Friday nites) it's always packed. It used to be packed when half the size on Fri and Sat nites early in the evening, but around 1am thinnned out. The reason this is a good thing is because you may have been eyeing a dancer that you wanna talk to and if the place is packed she could be busy for hours! The way it works in the Tijuana bars is that a girl will hang with you, but you must buy her a drink. These drinks are called "fichas" (ficha means ticket in spanish) because she gets a ticket when you buy her an overpriced drink. Beer and juices are $7 and a $1 tip is customary, but if you tip a waiter $2 you will have a friend for life (well ... at least till you leave for the nite!).

Some of the girls, if they like you, will hang out for up to an hour sipping their beer in a ladylike manner, but most likely not on the busy weekends cause that's how they make their money. If they don't like you, she'll guzzle the thing in 2 minutes. Buckets (6-10 beers) are NOT a good idea, since some of these girls are sharks(tiburon in spanish, and yeah .. i know it's hard to believe, but it's true!!!!). OK, so you have to tip the waiter for each beer, but at least when you aren't looking she won't dump the full beer into the ice in the bucket!! (of course this has never happened to me). OK though ... there are a WIDE variety of girls, not all of whom are dancers, and if you find one you click with, you will have a good time. The sharks/tiburons are sorta easy to spot, and they are best avoided. The strip shows are some of the best in TJ, and the lesbian whipped cream (actually shaving cream) show is pretty good the first time you have seen it. In fact, ANY guy can join in the show!! But you had better not be shy, cause these dancers will have your pants off and your naked ass on that stage in less than 10 seconds!! NOT FOR THE SHY!!! Now there's a jacuzzi, and suppose you come to HK straight from work and didn't have time to shower .. no worries. I think it's $10 to hop into the jacuzzi, and whenever there's a guy in there I have NEVER seen one at least one girl NOT hop in. WAYYYYY different from stateside "gentleman's clubs" (YECHH) of a good ol neighborhood titty bar, but it can be lots of fun. Brush up on your spanglish, as relatively few of the girls speak english fluetly (those who do are constantly busy). Now don't you wish you had actually paid attention and DID YOUR HOMEWORK in spanish class???? hahahahah!
