Revisited the Showplace on a recent Saturday night around 11. The place was busy with a predominantly hispanic clientele. I'm guessing there were 12-15 dancers on that night, mostly Russian with a few Latinas. Not one of the girls didn't have an accent of some sort.

If you're going to sit at the bar, expect nothing short of a dollar parade. The dancers seem to work one side of the large bar at a time, so you'll see the same ones quite a few times and then they seem to switch sides and you see a whole new set of dancers 2-3 times. You can easily go through $60 an hour here and you generally don't get much of a look at anything for that cash.

Unfortunately, I went for a private dance with one of the Russian dancers. Though she talked a good line at the bar, the dance itself was lame. At the conclusion, she was also pretty insistent on a tip (which I reluctantly gave her just to shut her up and get out of there). My recommendation would be to steer clear of the Russians for the private dances and instead try to hook up with one of the Latinas. They're usually friendlier and aren't as blatant about trying to suck the cash out of your wallet.
