I've been curious about this place...

I've been curious about this place for years. I've seen some reviews and decided to see for myself. Purely by coincidence, unplanned, I dropped by on a Wednesday which happens to be 2 for 1 night. That's for drinks ($4 for Bud) and for the dances which are normally $10. When you pay at the door ($8) you may be given a wristband. I'm sure this is to determine who is entitled to purchase alcohol. I like alcohol and turned left for the topless side of the establishment. I didn't experience the nude side except a brief look before I left for the evening. On the topless side I found the dancers very friendly and sexy. Even though it was 2 for 1 dance night, I still gave the dancers $10/dance and consistently each dancer asked sincerely if I wanted change when I handed them a $20 bill after the second dance. Very impressive. Though the name of the game in strip clubs is to separate you from your money, this attitude definitely encourages return visits. My only complaint is that the club may be a little too well lit as I got reprimanded by a bouncer for my wandering hands. Interestingly, one dancer invited me to join her at a nude club when GABC closed and her comment was that it was "much darker". Tempting but I had to call it a night. I gave this club a 9 as a value/dollar rating because it was the 2 for 1 Wednesday night. With an effective average of $2/beer and $5/dance after the cover charge, I think it's a great value. Without the 2 for 1, I'd probably give the club a 7 for value. I've experienced hotter lap dancing at other places like Bandaids (review forthcoming) and Hi Liter. This may be a reflection of what the management will tolerate. Will I return ? Yes, probably on a Wednesday night to get a dance with the bubblebutt dancer who never seemed to get to my side of the club. Rufus
