So I ventured again to the Industrial Strip last night. I keep wanting this club to meet my expectations, but alas, it always seems to fall just a bit short. I suppose most of the previous reviewers don't travel much, so for this area it's probably the best that can be had. But compared to other clubs around the country (particularly Detroit, Tampa/St Pete, Baltimore, outlying Philadelphia, even Phoenix), it just misses the mark.
Granted I was there on a slow night since it was on the night of the MLB All-Star game. But this experience was indeed similar to the last few times I've been there. There were about 10 ladies on the board this particularly night, but most had too much ink for my personal taste or just weren't visually stimulating my appropriately (maybe I was just having an off night). Or maybe with the economy with the way it is, I'm a bit more particular about whom I give my money too. Regardless, there were only a few (no more than 4) that caught my eye at all. The stage dances are a bit tame and on the top of every hour, they run a promotion that pretty much puts all the ladies in the back and the stage remains vacant for a looonnnng time. I think management should look into this. It might be better if you could get a drink in there, but sippling non-alcoholic brew or a water and staring at a blank stage isn't my idea of a fun, productive evening.
The appeal of this club is that the private LP are indeed one-on-one in small cubicles. And ymmv depending on the particular lady. Most will get totally nude, but one this night only went down to a g-string. All use a little lap blanket, which really cuts the mood imho. But 3 LDs for $55 is a pretty good bargain and the songs are fairly decent length; so at least there's value here.
