Hadn't been to IS in a...

Hadn't been to IS in a long time, mainly because I was away from the sc scene for almost a year, but hadn't frequented this club for probably a year before that. Another club in Anaheim had become my favorite, at least as far as OC went. But reading the latest reviews on that club on this web site, as well as those for this club, made me decide to give IS a new try. I ended up having a fun evening.

I got there shortly after 6, had a ld from a hustler, who made me wonder about my decision based on her strict "keep your hands by your side" attitude. Then of course it was pretty dead until the night shift started arriving, so things got going around 7. The one major negative this club has is the insanely high volume of the music, especially the video rap music between dancers. I have somewhat reduced hearing (probably from too many years frequenting clubs like this!), but the volume at times was borderline painful.

The positives this club has is the absence of a cocktail waitress pushing the "buy the lady a drink?" routine, which was, and apparently still is, the major complaint about my "other" Anaheim club. Also, the price of your first drink ($6) is then followed by refills for $2. Plus they have O'Doul's on tap, whereas my other club had gotten to charging $5 extra for O'Doul's. (I stayed with water at that point).

The looks of the dancers in general were OK: 5's to 7's, by my rating system. Stage shows also fell in the OK category, with the dancers pretty well abiding by the 5 ft rule during their second (all nude) dance. Very rare physical interaction with customers during the first dance. Perhaps for that reason, there typically were no more than a couple of customers ring side, and zero in many cases. The stage lighting also is moderate, which I'm sure is another reason. But there weren't all that many customers there that evening; probably no more than 12 to 15. Songs were of decent length; timed a couple close to 4 minutes.

Had some fairly good VIP dances (3 songs for $60 minimum) from Hazel, a white chick with a nice natural rack; a much better VIP with Chris, a black chick, also with a nice natural rack. I had some ld's from Harmony, another black chick that, to me, looked very similar to Chris, whose boobs were enhanced. Didn't do a VIP with her, mainly because I was just about out of funds. Got the impression that she would be a lot of fun in the VIP area also.
