Have been away from the area...

Have been away from the area for about a year, so I thought I stop in and check things out. I went on a Sunday night and the place just seemed dead. Not many girls and certainly no lookers. What happened? The dances looked to have the same amount of contact as I remembered, but no one even approached me to ask for a dance. I didn't recognize many faces. Are there better places nearby?
