First a disclaimer: The last time I was at NY Dolls was like 4-5 years ago, well before 9-11. I was a bit disgusted with the whole experience. None of the girls were wearing very much revealing, several were even wearing evening gowns. I could've seen more at the beach! But this was during Giuliani's crackdown on strip clubs, so there's every possibility it's improved since then. However, when I was there, I found the drinks way overpriced ($8 for a Budweiser? C'mon!), the staff snotty, and of course, the girls too clothed. I thought the place was a waste of time and money, but as I said, that was a while ago now.
