This place is not going to...

This place is not going to last very long unless they can fix a lot of problems quickly. I am a strip club pro, having reviewed clubs all over Chicago and nationwide on this site. This is a poor club, even by Chicago standards (a Chicago location limits any club's upside). First of all, the $30 cover (even for women) is absurd. Second, even more absurd is that they try to sell you that this is a "bargain" place because it is BYOB. What they don't put in the ads is you will be charged $8 for a cranberry juice to mix with your vodka. So rather than getting a drink for $8 with the booze, you still get charged $8 and have to supply the booze yourself. Awful. Third, even on a Saturday night, very few girls. And none above a 6.5. Lots of older, not hot dancers. Many of them were really good with the pole but otherwise were not enticing. Fourth, WAY too many thick-necked creepy mafia wanna bes escorting you to your tables (and women in attendance to the ladies' room). Fifth, no dance scene that I could see. Ladies seem content to dance on stage and get paltry tips. Very few approaches by dancers to patrons. Couldn't even see if VIP area looked any good b/c no one was dancing there. All and all, a total disaster for the "hot new club" in Chicago. As bad as VIPs and the Admiral are on a nationwide basis, they are both far better than this craphole. Anything positive about it? Yes -- the chairs are pretty comfortable, the space is not too shabby, and it is located in a safe and very-close-to-downtown location. But that's about it. Save your money and go to another club, preferably one in NW Indiana where you get something for your money.
