This is a place where you can spend a lot of money to accomplish what can be done outside the French Quarter for a lot less money. But it's still fun to drop in on this "official Bourbon Street dive" and find out that the shenanigans in the back room are up to old standards. The prices are exorbitant -- $300 for 20 minutes, and then the waitress "usually gets 20%" har har -- but they'll talk French or at least handle Willie for that amount, so I probably could confirm. It's weird that this kind of stuff is right there on Bourbon Street amid the tourists. I haven't had that level of contact from other clubs nearby, though of course there are a few NOLa AMPs and other clubs that do offer it. YMMV. As always.
