This was my first visit since...
This was my first visit since the redesign. The club looks quite nice inside and is a place where I could take clients. However the outside doesn't look nearly as nice so new visitors might be put off at first. The dancers were mostly on par with the level of class the new owners are aiming towards with the club. However too many of the dancers had 'bolt on' type enhancements. Though I was there on a Wed night so I probably missed their best talent. Something about the attendant in the men's room made me a little uncomfortable. I think he seemed to eager to please or something. Also the waitstaff did not give correct change, presumably keeping the extra 50 cents each time. I don't expect to have to ask for my change, I expect correct change to be offered and I am always happy to tip each time I'm serviced.
The club itself feels spacious and even though there is only one stage it is setup such that there are three clear locations for dancers. There are also a decent number of flat screen TVs on the periphery which were showing the sox game.
Overall the club is nice, the music was a bit better than standard strip club fare and the volume was at a comfortable level. I never felt like I needed to yell to be heard when I ordered a drink or talked to a dancer. The DJ also did a good job of not being obnoxious or annoying, something all too common at other clubs.
This being MA, the drive down to Providence still represents the better value. But if you are the neighborhood and are looking for something more upscale than the Cabaret Lounge then the GB is not a bad option.
