Wow … it’s been at least...

Wow … it’s been at least four years (and many visits to various clubs) since I wrote my last review of L&L Gastonia and unfortunately lightning hasn’t struck twice. I’ve never gotten the amount of action I got my first night at this club and never saw China again, my guess is that she got busted for dances that went too far. In the time since I’ve found that the table dances are indeed $5 day or night, any day of the week. The best seats in the house are stage left against the wall (under the TV) or stage right against the DJ booth, in both cases the DJ/bouncer’s view is obstructed. The quantity and quality of contact is hit or miss depending on the dancer, just as with all the clubs in the Charlotte metro area, however at half the price of the other clubs the misses are easier to take. I don’t often opt for the VIP, however, if you decide to give it a try be careful when you enter the booth, you pay for the song you enter on, so if your butt hits the seat and the song ends, you’re out $25. Try to hang out in front of the booth and enter between songs only. If you try a number of different dancers and get nothing but air dances ask if the owner is in, if he is save your money and check out CVE or some other club, the girls get real conservative when he’s around. Although I’ve never partaken, take-out is available day and night, more so during the day. The club may look closed due to the current expansion construction however they are open every day/night except Monday.
