Visited Scruples on one of my...

Visited Scruples on one of my rare visits to CT, mainly because of the February review below that said Ruby's was dead due to recent law presence. Got there around 7:30 (?).

Dead. One dancer was laying at edge of stage in deep conversation with a couple of guys. A second dancer appeared, and was monopolized by another (regular ?). A few guys were hanging around bar. Noticed the "regular" going to the lap dance area with "his" dancer. Songs seemed pretty long; I actually timed a couple at between 8 and 9 minutes.

A cute little number appeared, and was chatting with a couple of new rai huggers. Forget her name, but recall her outfit, whose top (which barely covered her perky little tits) said "I hug" and the bottoms "on first date". Engaged her in some conversation when she was on stage to dance, and got some pleasant physical attention from her. Decided that a lap dance with her might be worthwhile. Cold water was thrown on that idea quickly, as the bouncer, who was planted at the entry to the area, quickly reminded me that no physical contact with dancer is allowed, as soon as I checked out those boobs. Dancer said that it was especially bad that evening, due to so few customers. Dancer can stick her boobs in your face as much as she wants, and I was enjoying that, until she announced that "that was song 4; do you want to go on?" Don't know what happened to the 8 minute songs. At $20 per song, the experience definitly wasn't worth it.
