Went to 3 clubs during a recent visit to Vegas. This may have been the best experience. Beautiful club, maybe the largest in the city, perhaps in the country. A plethora of dancers, maybe outnumbering the guys. I would have to say that was good for having the options but bad because it was hard to say "no" to all the ones I wasn't interested in. Several though that I was really into.

I don't know if my friend and I had hundreds of dollars of money plastered to our foreheads but when we got there, we were ushered to about the best table in the club, right in front of the stage. It had a sign saying "Reserved" on it. Really pleasant "ushers" or managers that greeted us. They wore expensive suits and were a bit intimidating. Not sure if valet is required but we went in sort of a back entrance so we didn't have to pay for that. A $30 cover as mentioned, drinks between $9-$12 for customers, $20 a drink for dancers. Dances are $20 a dance on the floor and several hundred in the VIP rooms.

I would recommend saying "no" to anyone you're not really interested in right away. If they sit and talk a while, they expect to be compensated. It is kind of difficult to tell in a split second whether you're into them or not. Maybe if you're leaning on being interested, get one dance and then decide whether to go for more or VIP. The dances on the floor are nice and you can touch some but you obviously can't go very far. If you do end up doing the VIP (which I didn't), realize that it will most likely be more than the 3 for $130 that they promise. Generally it will cost between $300 and $500, even just for 15-30 minutes. There are various other charges like tips and drinks and extra charges for how much you are able to touch, lick, etc. Sounds like that might be worth it with the right girl, if you don't mind forking out the dough. I would recommend trying to avoid paying for a drink for dancers on the floor because that is really expensive. Maybe just tell them you are about to get a dance or something.
