I worked as a dancer at the Dolphin for about two years, up until mid-May when I graduated from college and left Portland. It is the nicest place for a dancer to work in Portland, on par with Dolphin II and Stars. The atmosphere is clean, safe, and enjoyable for dancers who don't want to participate in illegal extras (although I've heard they sometimes happen in the VIP room, it's difficult to find a girl there that does them because she would be fired when they found out). They trust the girls here, too, unlike some places I've heard of where girls are accosted by customers with no repercussion to the customer.

The Dolphin is a gentleman's club, not a bar with a pole like most strip clubs in Portland. There are three stages, and all three run on Friday and Saturday nights, when there are 20 or more dancers working. The girls are all really nice, to each other and to the clientèle. There is a wide variety of dancers in appearance (tall, short, blond, brunette, redhead, etc), and 90% are gorgeous. The bar staff are really awesome, but only if you tip them, and despite drinks being expensive they're worth the money because of how stiff the drinks are made.

Most customers seem to love this place because of how friendly the girls are, and how they'll enjoy the evening and party with you. Despite the constantly fluctuating group of new dancers who work there, there is a group of dancers who are Dolphin girls- you can expect to see a few of them every time you walk in the door. Also, despite being a 21+ club, dancers who are 18-20 can work at the Dolphin. Due to OLCC regulations, they cannot sit at customers' tables, but if you like the young, gorgeous, and sweet girls, you can get private dances from them.
