I went to the Oasis Goodtime...
I went to the Oasis Goodtime Emporium on a Tuesday. The layout of the club is differnt - it's a large rectangular room with 3 separate disconnected stages (about 8x8 raised platforms). Only 2 of the stages were in use (which they called Stage 1 and Stage 3). And disconnected because they would have a separate queue of dancers for each - the dancers would also dance for 3 songs or so on the same stage and then get down. There was a small bar area in one corner opposite which were some sofa seats. Everywhere else there were just wooden desk and chairs (not very comfortable). The dancers would usually put a scarf or something on the chair and then sit down (probably a good idea).
Another weird thing (for me) was the presence of uniformed people in a white/red shirt who were OGE employees - about 4-5 people constantly in the room. It was a little too conspicuous for me.
Most of the dancers were into their regulars. Private Dances were only 10 bucks but there was either very little circulation - with quite a few dancers just going back to their table with their regular after their time on stage.
