Having read all of the good reviews, I wandered into Secrets around 2:00 pm Thursday. There were two dancers, one with a customer and one dancing. As soon as my eyes adjusted, I tipped the stage girl and went to the bar for a beer (2.75 a bottle, the best part of the visit).

The stage girl finished her dance and joined me. After a 10-15 minute boring conversation I pointed out to her that she could only make money by inviting me for a dance. They have an interesting room set up that could probably handle 40 "private dances" at once. Sort of reminded me of the partitions the use in office buildings now, three sided to partially block out others, but leaving plenty of room for supervisors to observe. She selected a spot all the way in the back that had the most privacy (Nnone are truly private). Her dances were of mediocre contact and I soon found myself bored. Attempts at two way contact were brushed away and discouraged. To here benefit, she felt the first song was too short and offered a second dance free (I paid her anyway).

Based on the other ratings I have to assume I went at the wrong time of day, but it is unlikely I will ever go back to test that hypothesis,
