Went to Ricks yesterday for the first time since the remodel. I wanted to check out the new VIP area. I was suprised to find out that the dancers now asked for $30 as the new "going rate" for each dance. She defended the price increase to the dances now being "more private, and therefore more fun". Wink, wink. Well, I took the bait. For those of you who went to Ricks in the past, you know customers were all squished together. Not much privacy. The new layout and VIP area solves that problem. Now it is much more private for those of you with privacy concerns.

Overall, dances are the same as before (just take a moment to watch a girl or two to make sure she gives the kind of dances you like) - it's just that it now costs $30 per dance. But the extra privacy is worth it in my opinion.
