Shakers is easy to find just...

Shakers is easy to find just east of the Lincoln Ne city limit. The cover charge was $15 and it got you one a ticket for 1 (soft) drink. The club is larger than others in the area and has a main and second (smaller) stage, both raised. The lighting is sufficiently bright, the sound system is fine, and the DJ was pretty unobtrusive. Several televisions showing adult films are visible when you sit at the stage rail - this adds NOTHING to the club, IMHO...

The best part of Shakers is the stage show - there were about 12 dancers in the early evening and they were all attractive and could dance. The private dances (as noted in previous reviews) are $20 or $25 per song and are non contact; in fact the dancers put a blanket on your lap to ensure no direct contact. Given the high quality of the dancers, the private dances were not a terrible value - but it does seem that there is more flirting and more contact at the stage rail than during private dances.

In spite of the annoying televisions, I really recommend this place - the dancers are the reason to go; they are talented and seem to like working there.
