On a mid-afternoon visit, I saw none of what the other reviewers have complained of, unless paunchy white guys with buzz cuts is what passes for "urban" or "thug" in Minneapolis. The dancers seemed to be mostly native Minnesota girls doing their thing, most fairly attractive. There was plenty of eye candy. The atmosphere was staggeringly dark coming in out of the mid-day sun. Had to wait a longish time for my to adjust. It was happy hour so bear was reasonably priced and, at least when I visited, there was no cover charge. Didn't really do the lap thing here, so I cannot report on that.
