I visited Bare Elegance on a...

I visited Bare Elegance on a weekday evening a while back. It was one of those deals where I had walked by it a hundred times, read reviews and saw ads to the point where cusiosity got the best of me. So at the end of an evening of clubbing, I decided to head in for a few minutes and check it out, at least in part because the VIP price as quoted on here is one of the best in Manhattan.

First, the physical layout, which hasn't been covered to death for this club like for some others. There is a very small entrance, which you could easily miss, on a mid-block location. You go through the door and up the stairs. The doorman buzzed when I started up, and there was a guy waiting at the top of the stairs to take my $10 cover charge.

The main room is tiny. There is a stage, if you can call it that. It isn't really raised, just kinda has different floor covering. It might be a bit higher than the regular floor, but probably no more than an inch or so. There are two thin poles and one girl was dancing, if you can call it that. I thought it was more like walking back and forth between the poles. I didn't really get to see much of the stage show before I had company at my table, so it may have gotten better. It is a nude club, and my dancer said the stage dancers would come down for tips.
