Formerly known as The Blue Parrot...

Formerly known as The Blue Parrot this club changed hands, for a short time became Club Gazelle and is now known as Hollywood. This club has changed dramatically. First off it's had a major face lift ... new seating, lighting, stage, etc... More importantly the clientele and quality of dancers have changed. Unfortunately the changes have not been for the better, unless you are blown away by glitzy lighting and much younger but clueless dancers. I went on a Tuesday evening. First thing I noticed is that the stage has been changed. Sitting at the tip rail you are now on eye level with the dancer's feet. You have to crane your neck uncomfortably to watch the on stage action. I much preferred the old stage when this place was the Parrot where the dancers performed on a somewhat sunken level in front of you. I went on a Tuesday night and I counted about 8 dancers. Most need to go on a serious diet and shed a good 20 pounds. There's a pole but nobody was using it well. I was totally unimpressed. Then I caught sight of one chick who was a definite 10 so I stuck around. But she was even more disappointing than all the others. At the tip rail she made no contact whatsoever ... I'm not even talking skin. There was no eye contact, no verbal communication, Nothing. As she "undressed", if that's what you want to call what she feebly attempted, it became clear that she was wearing a Victoria's Secret push up bra which would never come off except for a quick peek pull-the-cup-down a bit routine AND she had on two pairs of underpants. Give me a break. You see more on a beach. I left this place very disappointed. It reminded me too much of the Rockstar Lounge in Wolcott, yet another local establishment where the talent has taken a huge dive south while the owners create a very glitzy environment. I don't need all the flashy lights and decor. Gone are the ladies who knew how to dance and provide real contact. I got some of my best lap dances both here and at Rockstar but those days are clearly over. Shame. I'll give this place a two only for its clean bathrooms.
