This was my fourth trip to...
This was my fourth trip to Brad's Gold over the last year(do not confuse the Gold Club with Brad's Brass Flamingo also in Indy; different ownership I'm told) and this latest trip (6/04) was a little disappointing. The place itself is nondescript from the outside. It is located near a shopping mall, right next to a Raley's. Inside, the place looks medium sized and is somewhat dark at times. The cover charge is $5, but don't pay it. If you pick-up a copy of the local weekend entertainment guide (I forget the name) they have a coupon for free admission. Tip Sleepy (the doorguy) the $5 instead. The place is nice inside with a very laid back atmosphere. Nice & comfortable plush chairs and bar stool seating is available. The full bar has very decent prices ($4.75 for most drinks) and beer of the month specials for $3.00 a bottle. The club has a large two pole stage area where anywhere from 1-3 girls will dance at a time (depending on how packed the place is). Most guys don't sit at the tip rail, so it is not unusual to see a girl dance a set for free(a shame, not one tip!)The quality and quantity of girls vary as well depending on day and time of day. Friday and Saturday nights are best, Sunday nights are usually very slow until 8:00. Don't expect great pole work here. There are only two girls that I've seen that can stage dance(Tatianna & Kirsten). These girls not coincidently also give the best grinding laps in the building. Lots of new faces in here, some having replaced old favorites. Do not waste your time and money with the rip-off see-through $100/hour champagne room. You are better off spending $50/half-hour for the vip couch dances in the back room instead or getting the normal $10 a song dance in one of the corner plush chairs. That being said, this place is still one of the best low profile topless joints in Indy. I hope this helps a little and happy hunting!
