I dropped by Penthouse a few...

I dropped by Penthouse a few weeks back at about 5:30 pm on a Wednesday. After experiencing the lively atmosphere of Shotgun Willie's the night before, I was somewhat taken aback somewhat by how relatively quiet this place was. It's quite possible that I just happened to hit the club at a dead time as the afternoon shift was winding down and before the night shift started revving up. But for whatever reason, the feeling here was a bit flat.

On the positive side of things, the Penthouse is a well-appointed club and appears to be well-maintained. And the dancers I saw were all very attractive. There just weren't enough of them while I was there. Perhaps the upstairs area, where no alcohol is served and the dancers strut their stuff in the nude, is the place to be. I just wasn't in the mood to pay the additional fee to go up there.

The next time I'm in town, I'll try this club out again to see if things livelier, because it's obvious that the place has potential.
