As noted by others, New Orleans is not a great town for strip clubs, contrary to what you might think. They cater to tourists, so they really don't care about repeat business. Most of the Bourbon St clubs are rip-off dumps, and should be avoided at all costs.

Penthouse is the best of the bunch. The dancers are all 9 and 10s. They are friendly, but you won't get much more than an air dance on the floor. They push the private cubicles upstairs. I think it was 3 dances for $100, but it was late, so don't hold me to it. I tried two young black ladies on a weekend break from the Memphis clubs. I hear the dances in Memphis are hot, but YMMV on the low side here. The first girl barely touched me; the second was a bit better, but nothing to write home about in the mileage dept. So the best strategy, which is hard to stick to, is to watch the very enjoyable action but keep your money in your pocket.
