It's sort of a cross between "small neighborhood bar" and "flashy, active strip club." The friendly, mellow atmosphere is one of the best features of this club. The bartenders and staff are really competent and on top of their game. A lot of the staff and clientele are Portland hipsters/alternative types. The crowd varies -- mostly white, a wide range of people, barflies and couples, older and younger, and the occasional biker. As some others have mentioned, there's a really hot cocktail waitress here who's made a name for herself. The club is mellow, but it's never too quiet; there's always something going on. They often have events or theme nights.

A sort of lounge area with pool tables provides a good place to chat away from the stages. It isn't too loud. There are two stages here, one small side stage and one large central stage. There's also a small private dance area. Everything is decently well-maintained and taken care of; like I said, the staff know what they're doing. The dancers range in quality a lot; there are a lot of different dancers who come here, some of them really great, others not so great. I've seen some of the best stage shows ever, and some really lackluster dancers as well. There is some hustling but overall it's a laid-back setting. I would definitely return here again.
