This is a unique club. If you apply a standard of comparing it the thousands of other strip clubs across the country (most of which SUCK), this place is Paradise. It would rate a 50 on a scale of 10. On the other hand, if you compare HH to the true "gentlemen's clubs" often covered on TUSCL, it's just a fact that HH falls short in several areas. (privacy, atmosphere, etc.) I think you just need to go there and experience it.
After all the attention it's gotten here, I took a lengthy side trip to HH on a Friday nite. I think I'd prefer to go back on a weeknite. With all due respect, too many young guys with no money taking up space, too many migrant workers who just got paid, and too many "groups of guys" taking dancers' time but not buying anything. I like to take time to meet and talk with a dancer, and then if the chemistry is there, it's well worth her time! This was hard to do at HH on a Friday. Most conversations consisted of "Hi baby, would u like a dance?" It seemed that most guys bought a maximum of two dances when they said "yes." At $10 a dance (which is great!!!) they have to keep moving, hunting through all that crowded humanity to find their next customer. I'm hoping that a week night would be a little more civilized.
On this night, I was a little surprised at how few young, college co-ed types were dancing. In fact, I didn't see any. Most of the dancers were "pros" who had driven an hour or two, at least to work the weekend at HH. Several said they had worked South Bend, Indy, Chicago or Kalamazoo in the past. I was hoping to see more bright, fresh, horny Ball State or Indy co-eds.
