Warning to the buds at TUSCL. Although I've recently reviewed this club, I thought it prudent to mention something else for everyone's benefit: there probably have been changes at Passions since that last review after a recent shooting. Two or three nights ago a death occurred in the Passions parking lot or on the street in front of the club, as I understand it from a gunshot wound. It was about 1 am. Lots of police cars, from several jurisdictions, including Military Police (they help patrol the city, since Katrina). I don't know any other details. The club does the pat-you-down at the door, so I'm guessing that the altercation took place outside for this reason. I don't know a lot of other details.
